Gratitude

Thanks to Tonya for getting me going on this orphan block quilt!  And to her Word Play book for the letters.  The Liberated Log Cabin blocks are from my first class with Gwen Marston, and the applique block is from a class with Gwen this spring.  The quilt measures 51 x 51".

  1. Somehow you have taken disparate parts and put them together like it was "meant to be". Love it!

  11. What a wonderfully free and cheerful quilt you've made. I'm also a big fan of Gwen Marston and only dream of attending her workshop :); her books are among my favorites.
Your center block will inspire me to make an applique folk art style block, free style of course. Thanks for sharing your quilt.
