Happy Scrappy Trips

I know, I know, you've seen plenty of these out here in Blogland.
But these blocks are SO much fun to make with this tutorial from Bonnie Hunter!

I'm going to make about twice this many blocks, and I'm playing around with layout.

I've been making the blocks in batches of four.  A batch takes less than two hours.

This actually eats up stash!

Next one:  RED!

  22. Aren't these blocks fun to make? It's like eating potato chips - hard to stop! I've made 3 now, and I don't think they're out of my system yet. They look so different with different themes or colors or settings. It's fun to see you play on your design wall!

I love your colors - they're very You, of course. Hmmm, I don't see any purple either? *grin*

And a red version would be a humdinger!

  25. Planning to sort through the strip stash today -- some of those 'oldies but goodies' would be marvelous in this format (AND they would vacate the shelf!).

LOVE the colors in your version.

  26. Sooooooo tempting to join the band wagon. BEAUTIFUL! Did you do intentional placement of fabric (darkest) for the center strip in each block? Thanks for sharing! Janita
