Scrappy Trip!

Here she is, all 64 blocks and 96" square!  She's the largest quilt I've ever made.

These blocks are SO much fun to make.

Someone said they're like eating potato chips--addictive!

Since this quilt can include "everything," it's a great way to survey your stash.

I found that I have plenty of dotty fabrics, but I'm short on graphics.

I'm also short on light lights and dark darks.  So now I've got reasons to shop!

There are plenty of bloopers and things I could change,
but I'm happy with it and can't wait to get it quilted and on the bed!

There's a Flickr group where you can see many more of these quilts here.

  9. Love how this turned out. Loads of fun to look at both from the distance and up close. I've got squares sitting patiently for me to act on them.... but they are tiny. Haven't decided what I want to do with them This is a possibility.

  16. Great Post thanks for all the close up shots. I've been cutting strips and as far as stash survey goes I'm missing the mid-range of colors. Very old lights/tiny flowers and dark Civil War. I was sure I had more brights even if they wern't graphics but ??[read maybe yes maybe no].
Your quilt is perfect for snuggeling under with a book.

  24. LOVE! I think it's the absence of lights and darks - plus your great stash filled with lots of warm colors and great busy prints - that makes this quilt so great!
