Parisian Inspirations

Paris is known for many things, including its sidewalk bistro chairs.
I found them beautiful and inspiring, each with different weaves and color combinations.

Some old drapery fabric I bought at a flea market.

The stall and purveyors where I bought the fabric.
A face made of bedspreads and clothes at the Emmaus thrift store.

Yum!

The best inspiration of all!

  1. Brilliant idea for a post. Now I will only be an imitator if I copy you.
And something I see I had not paid enough attention to.

  2. Cafe chair images are fascinating. Although I've been to Paris, that unique detail didn't connect. Love the bedspread art hanging from the thrift store!

Great fabric! It will be fun to see what you do with it!

Drooling at the idea of a French thrift store & am eager to see your purchases show up in a quilt.
The face is cool but I am intrigued by the geometric thing in the lower right corner.
