To Sisters or Bust!


 Here's my packing list:  Handwork for the ride.  Check.

 Shirt scraps for a class with the Gee's Bend quilt makers.  Check.


 Background and fabrics for a class with Kathy Doughty.  Check.


 Kathy's books for her signature.  Check.



Tonya is coming out from Florida to go with us!  Guest room ready.  Check.

  5. WOW...you got into some mighty fine classes. If you haven't done this before, you will love it. The small western town atmosphere and the hub-bub of the thousands of quilters is a dramatic difference.

  8. What I would give to be in Kathy's class with you...... any of them..... or even the lecture.... and I don't even hear.... but to see "the process" of putting the fabs together...... bliss.... to have the siggie... do I sound like a groupie? yeah yeah yeah...howling! Texas

  23. woohoo!!!! so exciting. I'm jealous of your ability to do handwork (or anything) while passenging. I'd get carsick so it's just talk talk talk for me. or torturing everyone by singing along with the radio. I should soooo be packing right now!

  25. When my son first moved to Portland, OR, he went to the sisters show. He sent me pics and a way too small Tshirt. Someday I hope to be there to go to it.
