Big Oops!

I just received a very nice email from Kathy, the owner of Material Obsession. She said this quilt is called "Fractured," and they sell the pattern for it on their website! They also have a pattern called "Stash Eater," which is another great quilt. I wish I'd known about the pattern at the time I was making this. It would have made things a lot easier. I hope everyone will go straight to MO's wonderful website and buy this pattern right now!

thanks for sharing the patern info. I don't know that I am going to get around to this one anytime soon but you never know when the bug is going to hit. I have already drawn out my notes just in case!- cw

At first when I saw this I thought one must need a machine to piece it but after looking at this closer picture I see it is not that complicated and the size of the squares could be adjusted to meet the kind of stash one has. Very interesting.
If course I really don't need any new ideas to sidetrack me!

This is still such a fun quilt...nice that you updated everyone on the pattern. Who knew? It is always interesting when you spend lots of energy on figuring out how to do something and find out someone else already figured it out. Those downunder ladies are so creative and energetic. Thanks for the post.

I just finished my blocks for this quilt! I didn't 'buy' the pattern. It was published in Down Under Magazine FROM Material Obsession. It was a free download. Hmmmmmmm. Anyway, FABULOUS job. I can't wait to get mine together!
