Maybe I'll slow down and quilt them all by hand. Ha!

I've been hand quilting this little number all weekend,

and thinking about how much I love to quilt by hand.

It makes me slow down and contemplate the important things in life,

like friends and family,

warmth and good food,

safety, health and laughter.

And the encouragement and support of all of you!

If your intent was to inspire you have achieved that goal. I am so inspired by your hand quilting. I am finishing up my second hand quilting project and beginning another one. It can be so relaxing.

The time is well spent, thank you for voicing what I feel about hand quilting, this is such a lovely post. I hadn't done any since last winter and just this week realised how rusty I'd gotton. There's nothing like it.

What a lovely post. That is why I always have some hand work going on....quilting, piecing, applique, sometimes maybe knitting or crochet.
It does indeed sooth the soul. Bonnie

Takes me back twenty years ago when my girls were little and I hand quilted their bed covers, I just wish I could get motivated to do it all over again! Your work is lovely
