Mama's Got a Brand New Bag

I found this bag at Goodwill for $6.

It had an old plastic liner.

I used the plastic as a pattern for the new liner.  Wa-la!

Perfect for my hand sewing on a little trip this weekend.

Great bag! You can't go wrong with dyed raffia embroiderered flowers on straw.

Hi, Nifty. Upcycling at its best. I never thought a lining would make a difference! I really like how the low volume quilt is shaping up. The plaid tablecloth would make a lovely border.
best, nadia

What a difference a bit of fabric can make on an old shopping bag. Had a laugh reading about your 'low volume' quilt. It totally needs those bits of red and the chopped animals if you ask me. It's very cheerful and fresh and has a lovely vintage feel about it.
