What a difference a bit of fabric can make on an old shopping bag. Had a laugh reading about your 'low volume' quilt. It totally needs those bits of red and the chopped animals if you ask me. It's very cheerful and fresh and has a lovely vintage feel about it.

i collect such baskets from goodwill! I have about 8. the most expensive was $6! I use them for handquilting projects on the go, too!
