Still Here

Just finishing a few things.

One in the machine,

And one in the hoop.

Only 18 blocks to go, out of 64.  As long as I quilt one block each evening,
it'll be finished in time for the quilt show next month!

Very Nice!! Both of them, but I'm always especially enchanted with hand quilting. :)

You're in a quilting frenzy! It's a great idea to have one in the machine and one in the hoop. I love how you are quilting your eyelash quilt with the flower design on the red.

Happy quilting, LeeAnn! I like multiple projects going at once. These are both such stunning quilts! Then again, everything you make is :)

they're both beautiful -- I like the zig zags, but that eyelash quilt is enchanting as well!

Nothing like a dead line to get yourself if full gear! I see ribbon winner all over these quilts! Is this the zigzag you made at V's?

Happy Sewing and best of luck in the show!

Great idea to have some machine quilting and hand quilting going on at the same time. So rewarding! Love these bright graphic quilts.:)

Glad to see your two works in progress. I have been on the fence about how to quilt one quilt with curves. Wanted to machine quilt QUICK, but couldn't figure out how to do it. Was afraid it would take away. Now I think I will get it ready to "big-stitch" it and get on with the next one, which will be a definite machine project. And THAT is why we need our quilting buddies, to bounce things off of. Thanks!

You can do it! your quilting projects look great. I've decided olympic curling is the best thing to quilt to :)

Absolutely love both of these! I think they look really good together, too... Your plan of one block a night seems to be a very good strategy - need to practice that myself!

Two of my favorites! Cheering you on to the finish.

I'm sure you will finish in time for the quilt show. Somehow the goal always gets us over the finish line.
The use of red in both quilts gives a nice balance to the other quirky and vintage fabrics. Very courageous.

Having a deadline is always encouraging. I have one question: what batting do you use in your hand quilted quilts.
